Really good video. Most white people don't have the balls to carry a video camera on the street in Africa, or stick one in the face of random nogs and interview them. I know I certainly didn't. A lot of people struggle with what we're doing over there.
It's not like 1915 where at age 18 u go and fight and have to wear a mask to avoid mustard gas & climb in a trench and gut someone that looks like your cousin, now at 2,000meters u just fire a bullet at anyone carrying a shovel, feels like it won't bother u, but when u find out he was literally carrying home his free shovel to scrap for metal value, it kinda wears at you.

JAVELINs and NLAWs have been completely unpredictable, most (confirmed) ATGM kills have been from their domestic STUGNA units
the HAWK system they want to ship is ancient, the NASAMs are more or less just a way for them to get some use out of surplus air to air missiles, HIMARS is more of an advertising campaign for Lockheeb than anything else

why do they cage the tanks like that?
it's so that ATGMs don't detonate against the armor itself.
best case scenario the tip of the missile gets stuck between the slats and it doesn't register an impact, worst case it hits a slat dead on and the explosion/plasma channel starts a foot or so further away from the armor than it otherwise would.
they did something similar as far back as Vietnam; most of the anti-tank weapons used were standard RPGs, and those things have a ceramic fuze - fire the rocket, when it hits something hard the ceramic breaks and sets off the charge.
they would wrap tanks loosely in chickenwire in order to slow the incoming projectiles down, ideally enough that the ceramic fuze wouldn't break even if it still had enough energy to impact the armor.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Currently the blue check-mark is a sign of 'prestige'; you have to prove you're important enough to get one and their process is completely arbitrary.
