Im in ottawa right now now, no friends in this city. yeah the shelter isn't ideal but the place i was at was better than outside. I didn't expect to be in this position but as always i have a habit of fucking up and then getting fucked a bit more.
I'll be fine. but yea it would have been smarter to not get tested in a sense but i'm dealing with a lot of bullshit from a few angles and it wasn't a totally worthless move.

So yeah I got tested at the shelter cuz i'm a homeless vagrant and decided to subject myself to a swab. Couple days later i was told it was positive and got moved to an isolation center somewhere in otterwa. It's kinda chill here, quieter than the shelter and they give out smokes and weed.
They did have me sign a Power of Attorney form which on second thought I should have asked more questions about and will be sure to revoke when I'm ready to be released.
This covid shit is weird as fuck. I have thoughts on this stuff but don't want to share them. Just hope that things go back to "normal" after. whatever.

Old jail, that was a hostel for a while then made into a shelter at some point, seems like a recent thing this place being a shelter, apparently my probation officer stayed here a long time ago, allegedly haunted cuz of the executions that had taken place, now a place for a few of ottawas downtrodden and those a drift to sleep. if they can behave just a bit, keep shit quiet and not be insane or too much trouble for the staff or other guests, but a good thing for us allowed in for sure.
I was more comfortable around vanier tho.... reminded me of home.
