Oh dude, algorithms can be manipulated fo sho. Think of it like reality manipulation and directing. I'm not saying it happens to everyone but I'm pretty sure a central authority uses it as a means of psychological manipulation. t2k1 is an example, as well as various pieces of human wreckage I've encountered and my own experiences as well.

Honestly so long as a mechanism is maintained whereby there can be a bit of turnover on top and small tweaks to the system implemented whatever. If it "works" i guess, works a lot better for some tho.

I voted 4 capitalisme cuz it's more nuanced. really capitalism is just a buzz word it's just economic orthodoxy which has a tendency to get skewed as fuck and then resets through violent revolution, or more likely a brutal suppression of the poors. Thankfully with advances in autonomous robots the revolution will be all but impossible as well as even opening the door to poor reduction strategies without seriously degrading available services. Obviously some will be kept, like pets because what good is power if you can't excercise it upon a mass of ignorant chattel.
Even if it is true we're all doomed wasn't that always the case for every individual? We're all going to die and thats ok, you can still have a good time while living. It never mattered before, now or in whats left of the future. Enjoy the ride and do ur thing.
