Haha, definitely not that much. 30mg sublingually and then snorted another 20 after like 30 minutes and no strong effects which did it. Err, well, it did something. I can't say it was a bad experience but it wasn't all that positive either. It was just like nothingness for two hours, which is kind of a cool experience I guess but it's hard to say it was enjoyable. More than any other drug I've taken it definitely made me feel different at a fundamental level.
I could see myself really liking it at points in the past when I was struggling with self loathing, seems like a really good drug for escapism, but I'm not feeling any strong urge to go back. I think I'll give it another shot with a bit of a higher dose but if that experience is similar I might put MXE on a shelf for another time.

Well this is definitely an interesting experience so far. And by interesting I mean weird as shit.
I'm sure there are still a few rough edges but it's pretty much good to go. Switch over if you want, or don't, whatever.
Except when your ether comes with shit that gives you seven different flavors of cancer mixed in.

Popped Collars
Yay or gay? I usually wear my collar flat but was a little chilly walking home tonight so I turned the collar on my jacket up so the wind wouldn't be on my neck, forgot about it, and when I looked in a mirror I was like "oh yeah" and thought it actually looked bretty good and surprisingly non-douchey (maybe a result of being a jacket as opposed to a polo or w/e). Kinda had a max stirner vibe going.
Anyway, what do you think about upturned collars? Sometimes? Always? Never?

Live Music Thread
ITT: Post upcoming live shows you're planning on going to and shows you've recently been to.
I just got back from seeing toe live, was one of the best live shows I've ever seen. The percussion has always been a highlight but it was even better live, different mix, the guitars were a but fuzzier which made for some really interesting moments of almost churny sound and the rhythm section stood out more as a result. I was also blown away by how much improvisation there was in the set, all the tracks were recognizable but they went off in totally new (to me, having only heard recordings before, at least) directions.
DAD'S are playing on tuesday, tickets are cheap so I'm going to turn up to that. I like their music but I'm not nuts over it, still it's a fun tuesday outing, might take someone along, we'll see.
Damn blood, I don't get why people do inhalants. Even if the high is good it's so nasty and terrible for you. Even bottom shelf OTC highs like benadryl are better (and benadryl is cheaper, jesus shit is it cheap)

totally, I'm down to add any of the zoklet smilies (although mass adds like the onionhead ones or the kitty set might be too tedious to do by hand and thus take a bit to script up). Does anyone have a backup? I'm particularly interested in lapastada and co., umad and descendents, and favorites from the original set a la picard, facepalm, :o, shifty and whatnot. Will check the wayback machine in a bit to see if I can rip them from there but if anyone has a backup I'd appreciate it (I remember arnox had a zip at one point, no idea if that's still floating around)

If you want a specific piece of bbcode added I can see about that (recently found there's a nice interface for adding that so I don't have to bust open the source) but if you want a fancier editor you're barking up the wrong tree.

Oh man, I'm embarrassed to say Aria has been in my queue for far too long. I should totally get on that shit. As someone who sucks SoL's dick from dusk to dawn it's awful that I haven't seen such a highly praised entry in its cannon.
