I don't think anyone really has an a priori moral objection cannibalism except on a like a scriptural level, in which case your "argument" is stupid and meaningless.

I don't get the P&T pic, can someone explain?

You don't know what "a LOT" of MDMA is.

Your shitty insecurities don't justify a moral error theory any more when experienced as a fake e-tard than when being an edgelord.

You're neurotic as shit and your life would at least be a little better if you could realize that fact and grow out of your middle school misanthropy.

yeah I have no idea what you're talking about many bands wouldn't tour around the world if it wasn't for people listening to their music from downloads. I used to buy music all the time even while napster was around. Bands make most of their money off of touring, not record label sells.

That's not even close to true. A huge number of tours net a loss. The motivation is almost always to promote commercial sales of recordings and merchandise.

Went to the bank to get quarters for laundry of all things. She was like early 30s which isn't outside the range for consideration, but I kinda just wanted my quarters, also awkward because her coworkers were all there giggling in the background. As I leave she gives me her card, says to call her if I want to discuss "my accounts", and on the reverse she's written her cell, presumably. Still flattered though, I do OK in the romance department but I think this is the first time a total stranger has given me her number.

Anyway, bragging thread, fuck the police.

I kinda feels like that is what it means to be an alcoholic, or at least a former alcoholic. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/why-some-chinese-people-support-trump-2016-10

East Asians have a higher average IQ along with superiority on numerous other measures of societal importance and support Trum more than Hillary. It's clear that he is the superior choice, whites have an unfortunate tendency to be incredibly self-destructive.

This honestly might be one of the stupidest things you've ever posted.

A classical aristocracy functioning under a strong central government with no limitations on authority over its citizenry.

Lanny, and I am quite serious about this, I want you to enter a serious debate IRL or find one of your old university professors, your favorite, or ask to partake in a suitable class, join a club, whatever the best medium you have access to, espouse this viewpoint and attempt to defend it. Debate some PhDs or professors in the political science department, preferably at UC Berkeley if you can manage it.

Make sure to record it, this would be the most amusing thing you would have created, by a large margin, to date. Form a mental image of what would occur. Or, hell, make a thread on reddit, even though it's filled with idiots.

Or I could go do the same and talk about anarcho-capitalism, or maybe I'll talk to a neurologist or someone who studies autism spectrum disorders about taking a page long list of supplements in an attempt to cure what ails me.

Also I didn't say no limitations on power. I suggest, in an ideal world, no action within the means of the state ought be denied to it if appropriate criteria are met (specifically consensus on beneficial outcomes among those relevant to the decision), as distinct from something like constitutional prohibition of some state action. People often confuse the state having a power with the state exercising a power. It's conceivable that an powerful aristocratic state might grant its citizens a lot of liberty, perhaps more than is enjoyed in much of the western world today, while maintaining the power to curtail it if it ends up being detrimental.

The state is the largest parasite of all, the power of political authority the most destructive.

That's your view on the matter, clearly, and it should be obvious by now that saying it loudly or picking out piecewise instances of modern nation-state failure is not going to convince me otherwise.

A dictatorship of the proletariat would very likely be the most catastrophic political event the world has ever faced, an authoritarian nightmare.

I mean yeah, that'd probably be bad, historical examples have generally been pretty ugly. "the most catastrophic political event the world ever faced" seems a bit melodramatic but whatever. I never proposed proletariat dictatorship though so I'm not sure why we're talking about it.

Are you aware of what the views of the proletariat are?

I am, and that awareness defines my political views. Specifically it's why I condone a strong central government with no per se limitations on authority over its citizenry.

Of course, like most bias leftists you seem to ideologically insulate yourself and avoid reading any material that led me to these viewpoints, the profoundly important work done on heredity, the biological roots of human behavior/traits.

Dumb empty slur. "durrr, you have biases, I'm so informed, I must be right!"

And based on your past views your ideal system would essentially be a highly authoritarian one where you would be an all powerful dictator, able to impose your utopian structure on everyone. Marxists who genuinely understand Marxism (I'm not implying you don't.) should be willing to beat you with metal pipes if you were ever in a position where you could seriously attain this.

I think the justifiable state is classical aristocracy. Since I don't have any world class expertise in any field that seems immediately necessary to governance I wouldn't expect to hold any direct political power at all under such a system.

Also Marx specifically acknowledges socialist states as part of move towards communism. I can't say I give Marx's ideas about this kind of natural, inevitable move towards worker states any credence, I consider (as many do) Popper to have more or less leveled that dimension of Marx's work, but regardless the interests of classical socialists and marxists are generally aligned until a point revolutions have typically failed to make it to

white collar = nerds, socially awkward faggots, etc

blue collar = beta, politically-incorrect, fun loving men

Yes prole, very good. Please continue to artificially divide the working class and fight amongst yourselves. It makes it far easier to extract labor from you.
  19. Lanny Bird of Courage
That's a pretty weak critique of Marx. I mean I agree, Hegel has been a blight on leftist thought for a while and the notion that the socialist state is somehow a step on the road to communism is, uhh, at least not something I agree with. But reducing communism to "world-spirit takes care of it" is a really bad caricature of both Marx and Hegel

G&Ts are a great drink, probably my go-to with a negroni as a close second. Nothing better than a tall gin and tonic in the late afternoon of a summer day.
