No treatment so the diagnosis is kinda pointless. Like if your kid has it maybe you can get teachers to have some compassion and not treat the kid like they’re just a spastic dickhead but you don’t really get anything in adult society for being a sperg.
Maybe a diagnosis could help some people be more aware of their behavior and try to consciously fix that but IDK, I think some people kinda use it as an excuse because being empathetic and socially functional is hard for most people and it’s easier to get a doctor’s note than it is to learn how to live with other people. -
