God fucking damnit. I was messing around on my cumpooter and came across a framework i wanted to install. Conveniently it had a shell script to do so, little did i know that the shell script would add the Kali repos to my sources list(I'm on an Ubuntu derivative). So i ran the installer script went for a coffee only to come back to the script automatically running a dist-upgrade. While i was gone.
Needless to say Ubuntu had a stroke, and now my OS has cerebral palsy. On the plus side, it's a pretty damn good OSINT framework. But Kali faggots can suck several bags of dicks regardless...

Yeah in this case the shell script that was included for automatic configuration and installation ended up installing software packages that weren't meant for Ubuntu. You can get away with that usually, but the guy added the repos that have a full catalog of all the Kali libs and packages, and so the `dist-upgrade' operation ended up fucking with a bunch of dependencies i need for Ubuntu to function properly.
It's fixable, but maybe i will just install a different distro. As long as it's not Mint, i'd prefer an ubuntu derivative. But there aren't that many Ubuntu based Distros that come out of the box with most thing i want in an OS.
I'll look into the new Lubuntu tomorrow perhaps, or maybe Parrot, i hope Parrot has been updated. Last time i used it it was clunky as fuck.
