IIRC one of the guys was asking how to get out of here and the other guy was like, "You.have.to.talk.to.people."

Well here are a few reasons. Because there was a ton of other shit that had far higher importance in my mind, such as nearly getting killed by gang members and 3 of the people there taking advantage of me and abusing me, so relatively minor incidents like this may get overlooked. I also got hit with a high dose of an antipsychotic/sedative combo later for trying to escape, and for good reasons, which completely fucked me up.
Haven't you ever had some major, intense, event happen to you, then went over the events in your mind and realized that you had completely forgotten about part of it for a while?
If I was that psychotic why would they have wanted to let me out and how would I have gotten out after only being there overnight?
When I'm not entirely certain about a memory I clearly state it. There are really only like 2 minor parts before I got injected which I'm not entirely sure about. My memory isn't entirely infallible, it simply has a far higher level of fidelity than normal.
BTW, I sent off letters Monday, 2 to the house to the north of us because I think the wife there may have seen the initial event and one to my old address asking them to email me because I have a few questions to ask them, such as whether anything suspicious happened afterward. We'll see if I get a response. I may finally be able to get some corroborative evidence.
Is it really that hard to believe that I was a victim of random gang violence in one of the most dangerous/violent cities in the US? -

I'm kind of surprised that you, someone who presumably understands the fallibility of perception under compromised circumstances, is so unprepared to engage with the possibility that events may not have happened as you remember.

2018-03-25 at 8:20 AM UTCHow on earth could I misunderstand or inaccurately recall a situation that badly? The vast majority was pretty fucking clear. One minute everything is fine and nothing out of the ordinary is going on, 30 minutes later my apartment is completely wrecked and things have been stolen. I would have to have been continually cycling between full blown reality replacement insanity and being completely lucid.
As I said, there are really only two small parts I'm a bit hazy on, and they're not that important. -

I have a different mental illness and part of its vast array of effects is that I actually know everything and have a epistemologically valid basis for everyone one of my beliefs and because of this I know that you were suffering from a psychotic episode. This is an unquestionable reality because of the mental illness I diagnosed myself with which gives me literal superpowers. -
