Then you're fucked. I can't even hand write hiragana, I'm like half-illiterate. Apparently this is actually an issue in Japan where people are increasingly losing the ability to hand-write because you never need it and it's a relatively more complicated orthography. Or at least that's what I've been told. I guess it's kind of like cursive, it's increasingly rare among literate people despite being taught in schools.
