   as I understand the pharmacokinetics, benzos work by multiplying the effect of GABA already in the brain whereas alcohol and phenibut work by adding more GABA to the system. It follows that you should see similar rebound effects between alcohol and phenibut, and if so you may just have a genetic cheat code that allows you to break down or modulate GABA more effectively than others

   I know that this is not uncommon though. I've talked to quite a few people who don't get withdrawal/rebound from phenibut. For a long time I thought everybody was overreacting.
