How are you so nihilistic?
You are truly a marvel to behold.
Maybe that's why I like you so much.
You can reveal some of the most depressing truths about reality, and yet you say it with such conviction and poetic description that one can't help but rethink every thought or belief they once held dear to them. -

You can reveal some of the most depressing truths about reality, and yet you say it with such conviction and poetic description that one can't help but rethink every thought or belief they once held dear to them.
But leaving the above post in tact for both posterity and hilarity. -

I don't accept compliments very often but this one strokes me right where it hurts. you're not the first person to comment on my ability to take the wind out of anyone's sails. sometimes I wonder how I got here. at one point I was an idealist -
ah who am I kidding, I've always been a cynical bastard, even when I was filled with the idealism of youth. it does sometimes surprise me just how cynical and contradictory and nihilistic I am sometimes, every now and then I get a birds eye view and I don't really want to fuck with it because its like an earth quake or a tsunami. there's just no hope for you - everything you love is trash, everything you know is a lie, you're a fraud, and you probably appreciate me because you realize "yeah, im kinda full of shit and this entire life is pretty bullshit."
or maybe not, idk. it's very easy to mythologize yourself. maybe the suffering that I've experienced has conditioned me to be negative. I don't believe nihilism is inherently negative, though. nihilism is the great equalizer. the same way the revolver made a granny equal to a 300 pound thug, nihilism allows the common man to attack philosophers, and the philosophies of the system that controls them. you should always assume the worst in people, be skeptical of any sort of movements, reject any type of utopianism, utilitarinaism, basically anytime you see some fucker saying "I think I can help people" you have to shoot that fucker right away.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, and only hell has paved roads because God can't get a loan. -

Minus the pro-violence rhetoric (although it may just be meant to be taken allegorically, I have no idea), I find your worldview not too dissimilar to my own.
My worldview might just be like the toned-down PG-13 rated version of yours.
Yours would be banned from every form of media, and be given some kind of R2 rating, if continuing in the movie-rating analogy. -

you know, a discussion about violence would be pretty instructive, I think. It is the only form of discussion that is universally reviled, even by the most ardent free speech activists. there's a reason for this: talking about violence will be met with the violence of the state, the only "legitimate" violence. of course when you see places like France or the US, whose republics have a history of revolution, clamp down on political violence and making some statement...you know this is nothing but power.
I think this is a pretty good article on this subject https://palladiummag.com/2018/11/16/mass-political-violence-wont-happen-in-america/
I find myself agreeing with extreme leftist weirdos for the worst reasons. When they say "speech is violence", I agree. they think that means speech should be regulated, I think violence should be deregulated. people like andrew breitbart have cute sayings like "politics is downstream from culture". these are the sort of bullshit things political pundits say to hide the raw facts of the matter: culture is down stream from violence. Everything is down stream from violence. Yeah, your streets might be safer, but now we have nukes. Violence only escalates, and it is the only code of truth. You can lie about money, prestige, science, but you can't lie when your head has been cut off.
That's why you can't incite violence. Violence is the sole purview of the government. Any type of violence, from school shootings to football hooligans upset this very fundamental understanding. Unfortunately for us, the violence of the people just doesn't hold a candle to drone strikes and swat teams.
so personally, I am in theory pro-incitement to violence but fuck you you're not going to catch me, I've got twelve jedi lawyers -

I hate to quote a popular Hollywood movie, but the quote does summarize my position on a lot of this:"People should not be afraid of their Governments; Governments should be afraid of their people."
From V for Vendetta, I believe.
Sure, it's a big cliche Hollywood movie, but the words are succinct and apt. -

well it's cliche, a bit lame, but it's also true. there are more of us than them. power is precarious. to those with no power it seems godlike but as soon as you get a taste you understand the ephemeral nature. for some this is a moment of enlightenment, for the other 99% of people this is when they double down. It's better to have loved and lost, but it's never good to lose power. we have the power. that power is violence.
ignore every martin luther king or ghandi preaching pacifism. these people have already given up. if you take away the threat of violence there is NOTHING for the state to fear. the house always win. -

I have to admit, I admire both MLK and Ghandi.
They exercised patience and restraint.
Malcolm X, on the other hand, he may have had "noble" intentions (depends who you ask), but his methods were unsustainable, and, dare-I-say, unethical.
So I guess we do have very different worldviews.
But they converge in some ways. -

im definitely more of a malcom X kinda guy (we both liked nutmeg - coincidence? definitely not)
not because I like his ideas. but he understood. he understands. violence is power. nonviolence protest isn't a protest. that's some fucking faggoty, woman bullshit. never should have let them vote. only a feminized society would take seriously "non violent protests". if it ain't violent, you're not serious. -

It's actually really fucking good. I would do it again if it didn't last three goddamn days.
I always lol at the reports I see online where people take more nutmeg because they didn't feel anything within the first few hours and then wake up the next day tripping balls -

lmao those are great. honestly most of the time I don't even take "trip" levels of nutmeg, the pre-psychedelic levels of nutmeg are soooo great. dunnno how you could even be a hedonist without being a nutmeg addict, do you niggers even know what pleasure is? super psychedelic levels of nutmeg is fucking something else, like no other drug that's for sure. beautiful stuff though. praise mystra
