With those fuckers there is no reasoning. To them the law is very black and white. Its either legal or illegal and they are just itching to make a monster out of someone and a victim out of another. Then they can parade it over the media to resend the message to the population 'hey look everyone, we're protecting you from all these big scary monsters that are out there'. Coz that's what they're really all about, making everybody believe in monsters and then that only they can offer any protection from those monsters.
Imagine you were convicted for this. What do you think the headline in the newspaper would read?
You think it would read..
"Innocent man wrongfully convicted for a relationship he had back when he was only 19"
Or you think it might read summing like..
"Sick pedophile jailed for raping 14 year old in 2003"
With no mention of how old you were at the time, conveniently.
Taking something like that and making it look as worse as they possibly can is exactly what they do.
I will probably end up 'Thanking' every one of your posts in this thread, because you do provide a rational perspective on it all.
But I'm just at a point in my life where I feel like taking this supposed risk is worth it. It really does feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.
And the more #MeToo allegations flooding society, the more diluted they become.
I mean, TRUDEAU (P.M. of Canada) was even #MeToo'd, and he's (in)famous for a quote like "Why am I a feminist? because it's [current year]".
What does that tell you about the credibility of the #MeToo mob? -

It makes wonder what the correlation is between degree of fame and #MeToo allegations is.
Heck, I think an incredibly interesting study would be to find the correlation between some kind of standard looks measurement, degree of fame, and number of #MeToo allegations.
Call me a cynic, but I expect that the uglier and more famous you are, the more #MeToo's you'd have against you.
Not that I want to downplay legitimate sex crimes, but damn, "harassment" is so loosely defined it's ridiculous.
Pedo and sex offender has become the ammunition used by the character assasins of the 21st century. Before, if somebody wanted to ruin your reputation, whether a business or political rival or just somebody who wanted revenge or to fuck you up for whatever reason, they would make you out to be either gay, having an affair, using a hooker and/or drugs. But now nobody gives a shit about that stuff, so they'll look for any way to make you out to be a pedo or rapist. They'll take any little thing they can find and magnify the shit out of it.
You wanna hope to fuck that nobody in the future ever wants to get one up on you for some reason darren, coz you just made it real easy for them now.

2018-12-16 at 12:36 PM UTCAnd while I completely understand why a forum full of weirdos, junkies, tweakers and criminals of varying degrees would particularly value there privacy, there's something kind of sad about being so on guard. For some of us, this social group has been our only steady group of friends for, 10, 15, 20 years of our lives....maybe more. And then either life gets in the way and we just disappear, or health problems arise and we kick the bucket, or we can't deal with depression anymore and rage quit life. In cases like Malice, if he did in fact kill himself- no one beyond his mother, father and siblings will even remember that he even existed. It sounds like he had a more open relationship with many people here than he ever did, even with his own family. Theres something sad about that...not knowing even just his first name.

Again, I am in complete agreement.
Maybe this act this evening has been part of an ongoing trend in my life that started recently...
I suddenly became bored and apathetic about life, so I started taking stupid risks:
-- Lots of drug experimentation.
-- Gathering the materials required to manufacture methamphetamines (for the feds reading this, I HAVE NOT CARRIED OUT A SYTNHESIS... YET).
-- Even just wandering around the rough parts of town for the fuck of it.
Maybe this is all part of the same pattern.
I'm trying to create just a little bit of chaos in my life.
Now, being charged with a sex crime, that's more than 'just a little bit' of chaos.
So, again, you're probably right I should not have mentioned what I did.
Heck, I could have modified a single digit by 1 and rendered it perfectly legal (within the bounds of Canadian close-age-exception).
But I didn't.
To be honest, if the absolute worst case scenario happens, and I highly doubt it will, I may just (have a dream about a scenario in which I) shoot up a court room or something.
If the legal system is that fucking broken, I'll take some personal action against it.
But, like I said, I doubt it'll come to that.
It was 15 years ago.
She doesn't care.
I don't care.
Anyone who tries to care "on her behalf" is just a delusional busy body. -

One can't delete posts, only replace each and every post with a "."
But, that being said, my principles are strong as fuck.
I'm sticking with this.
The outcome will be one of the following:
1. I somehow lose my job because of overly leaked personal information about my drug-use, sexual promiscuity, and certain other questionable acts in my life history.
2. They don't fire me because, well, they wouldn't have just cause, and I just stay at the same company until retirement.
If #1 occurs, I will employ the above mentioned strategy that I got from a coworker: Flood the Internet with disinformation about myself, then just find another job easily.
If #2 occurs, I'm good to go.
Also, if #1 fails for some reason, I will (write a book about a character that proceeds to) climb a clocktower with a powerful rifle and lots of ammunition.
Selling that book will make me famous.
It's basically a win-win-win situation no matter what unfolds. -

or you could become completely unpersoned off of the internet, face serious criminal charges, vigilante justice, your family and friends distancing themselves from you. people's lives have been completely ruined over shit far more trivial than the shit that you've admitted to. you've already made your choice, and you're sticking to it - that's fine. it would be admirable if I thought you actually knew what you were facing. this is 4th generation warfare. you're one of the least likable people (no offense to you) to be made a martyr, as well. admitting to fucking minors and drug dealing?
wew lad. best wishes. good luck, have fun. and then the time comes, I will certainly relish saying, "told ya' so" -

I don't even watch the news anymore yet I'm still fully aware of how fucking hard they are going on pedo hunting even on the slightest sniff of any illegality concerning a minor, even if it was 40 fucking years ago they'll have no problem charging your ass for that shit now a days.

don't suppose you can have any credit card information you want to share, eh? -

~19:~14 is only obscene to ignorant folk.
And again, it was 15 years ago.
I'm not Hollywood famous, I won't have decades-old #MeToo's brought against me.

I might do outlandishly stupid things at times, but I'm not retarded.
My credit rating is low as fuck anyway.
If someone managed to get my SIN and other other requisite info to steal my identity, I would actually take joy in the amusement I would experience imagining how much trouble they end up going through just to get like a credit card with a $200 limit.
It would be worth the $200 they'd rack up on it. -

if you were smart, you would at least check your accounts on major platforms you use, things like names, DOB, location, can allow people to easily game security measures. if you're going to be out and about and brash, make sure you have a reasonable expectation that people aren't going to use this information to hack your shit. -

That's the thing, there's no shit to hack.
I've got nothing but a bit of cock-eyed optimism, a little ambition, and a substantial alcohol habit.
I'm actually kind of a minimalist, and I move from city to city every few years like clockwork.
So even if someone went to the trouble track me down, if they manage to find me before I move onto some other life phase, well, chances are we'd get along anyway.
I welcome intruders (just knock/buzz yourself in first, though - I would advise against breaking in - I have like 7 HD security cameras because I'm - as paradoxical as this might sound - paranoid as fuck).
