This is basically the one and only thing that made me think twice about all this.
Again, I am NOT against the notion of personal privacy within the confines of one's own personal life.
I realize I'm taking a certain degree of risk by revealing a connection between my personal identity and my private life.
But I'm doing it to try to calm some of the storm that has arisen over the sharing of personal information.
Of course, if somebody posts something online, and then deletes or alters it, they have rescinded their consent to have it shared.
It may not be legally binding, but ethically, come on people...
I don't plan on rescinding or ammending my personal info, but I want people to realize that, I definitely still find it totally uncool to share another person's personal info IF THEY HAVE REMOVED IT (or even ATTEMPTED TO REMOVE IT) from the public Internet. -

That's just insane.
You clearly have no imagination. -

True.
And I guess, technically, I do hold an advantage over the female posters here.
I highly doubt anyone is interested in raping me.
But I guess if you're in a high risk demographic, you might want to proceed with some caution. -

Credit card, cheque, and bank fraud mostly.
Some drug dealing at one point as well.
A bit of shoplifting.
An absolute fuckton of drug possession/ingestion.
Maybe a technical assault or two (depending on if it's about who threw the first punch or what). -

Yeah I will admit to being a boring criminal.
I suppose if anyone on here has committed murder or grievous bodily harm / aggravated assault, they might not want to divulge personal information.
But really, are there that many among us who have actually committed such acts?
I have my doubts. -

I mean, the most open and publicly honest person on this site is kr0z. He allegedly has an extensive criminal record, he admits outright that he is a deadbeat dad, I've seen him accused of all kinds of sex crimes (allegedly).
If even half of this stuff is true, then we can ALL learn a thing or two from the book of kr0z.
Internet anonymity is overrated.
We're all just so egotistical and narcissistic that we actually believe that our person information being out there would directly result in some kind of catastrophic event.
I'm not trying to encourage people to give up their privacy. It's an important right, and I support and believe in it.
But at the same time, people, tone down on the paranoia.
He has nothing to loose ... it’s not rocket science. -

2018-12-16 at 4:38 AM UTCYou clearly don’t know or don’t remember what was done with the PI of people on past sites. Some people form personal vendettas against people and use their PI against them. Others just want to watch the world burn.

I know.
I mean, you're right, some people are just assholes and do want to watch the world burn.
I made this thread, though, to just kinda spread the seed of a message... We shouldn't all be so afraid of being personally identified on the Internet.
But yeah, we do have to fear it, because some people will ruin the party just because they can.
I'm trying to make a statement against them. -

This. And I personally like to have a place where I can call people niggers, whores, shitstains, etc. without it ruining my life. -

I totally get that.
I'm probably doing something really stupid right now that might even come back to bite me in the ass in the future, but you know what? (again, cliche as fuck...) You only live once.
I am willing to take stupid risks to make a point.
If you don't take risks in life, what are you doing with it?
I'm trying to be rhetorical there, not direct anything particularly at you.
