It’ll happen to you one day. Then you’ll understand.

no, you complaining has been happening daily for like a month down. There's no "one day" about it.

I'm feeling a fierce bout of depression. Something feels wrong. I feel like I'm trapped and need to escape as soon as possible.
Maybe it's just giving university a chance and confirming that there are likely no routes left to try, there's nothing in life for me, or, more accurately, that there's nothing I want in this world. Maybe it's the profound sense of unbreakable social isolation as well.
Kind of funny that one of the final determiners will be either meth or pentobarbital.

I'm trying to super gradually introduce pieces of a healthy diet to the food I buy, instead of just loading up with healthy options when I go on my ~weekly grocery shopping. Because I mean even with bananas, which I actually like, I end up only eating one or two before they get too rotten to eat anymore. But if I can find fruits or veggies that I enjoy eating enough that it won't just sit around while I get full off other shit, or that lasts longer than bananas which seem fairly short-lived sitting in a cupboard at room temperature, maybe I can gradually add more from here and eventually a good chunk of my diet will be healthy. It's hard to break lifelong eating habits, especially when you've gotta squeeze buying things you're uncertain you'll even eat, into a budget.
Anyway, Wal-Mart has these little "apple grape cheese snacker" things for like $1.70, and it's pretty good. I never really gave grapes a chance in my life before now. I was a picky eater as a child, but I've become worlds more open to trying new foods since then. However, there are still all kinds of things I just assumed I don't like because I tried them once when I was a little kid, or because I just thought it was gross when I was a little kid so never tried it at all, and now as an adult I've never gotten around to it. My palate has definitely changed significantly since then. I think I figured I didn't like grapes because I never liked raisins, so I just never really tried then.
Anyway, adding healthy options first as just small snacks here and there seems to be a good approach. I can figure out what I like without wasting much money, and I can ease it into my diet without it being a sudden drastic change.

I'm ~98% vegetarian now. Every couple weeks I might get a sub or a calzone but that's it. I always tell people just to try it for a month, and most of them stay on it afterwards.
It's great because you can eat all you want without ever having to count calories or any other bullshit nutrition fact
Canned tropical fruit salad is like 60% of my diet
Also how the hell can you not try grapes for decades? Grapes are delicious.

What I like about fruit is that it actually hydrates you, instead of the majority of other foods which make you thirsty. It
feels healthy to eat fruit, ya know? I mostly eat meat, but the salt and other shit makes you thirsty. So you've got this kinda cloudy-headed bloated feeling when you get full instead of feeling refreshed and satisfied.

That's one of the reasons I went to mostly vegetarian diet
Because of my schedule I have to get home from work, eat, and go straight to bed. With standard American diet I had trouble falling/staying asleep because my heart rate and blood pressure would go up after a meal
If I just eat a fruit salad that doesn't happen
Also I ALWAYS had dry mouth before, and still do now, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was, and if I'd slow down on the caffeine/Crouton I'm pretty sure it would go away
