2018-03-28 at 5:15 AM UTCI want to point out that all of the conversations that sploo is referencing are philosophical conversations. You know, the stuff that most every human everywhere on earth thinks about, but maybe just doesn't have the vocabulary that an esteemed philosophy major might?
Very rarely are any intellectually challenging topics posed here. Philosophy is fun to talk about for some, but I don't think anybody is ever really like "Damn! How do people think like this? My mind has been opened!" It's not really challenging. The most challenging part about it is dealing with convictions and doing some gay back and forth dance. -

the patterns are different for every test. if they were the same patterns it would be a learning test, not an IQ test, and the statistics would reflect this, because these tests are normed on people who have been tested chronically who originally were assessed earlier in their life for giftedness. like i was in gifted programs from kindergarden to 10th grade even though i never did any work. the statistics are mathematical artifacts detached from any possible applied and inferred social dogmas that inherently support one's work as an accurate measure of intelligence, and how does it do that? through the g factor, which has been highly correlated through brain scans to increased neural connectivity and efficiency. the g factor is the #1 correlate of IQ tests, and the g factor is the #1 correlate of increased neural connectivity/efficiency, therefore IQ tests when constructed well are the most accurate assessment of an enhanced neurological architecture possible. -

2018-03-28 at 6 AM UTCif the tests statistical analysis was based on a sample of people who have never been IQ tested before, my scores would be inflated. meaning my scores on a test like RAPM or WAIS would be meaningless
if it was based on a sample of people who take IQ tests all of the time who were assessed before any of that, then my scores are accurate, something like 150-160, best score at 166. meaning im scoring better than people who have taken dozens of IQ tests as well as have been professionally assessed by psychologists long before that and scoring 145+. -
