I live in one of the coldest places in the world. This winter, we won some kind of prize for "coldest capital city in the world". You spit, it freezes before it hits the ground. You piss, it freezes before it hits the ground. 120 seconds exposure to skin: frostbite. Wake up in the morning to stupid people stuck to fences and walls frozen stiff and dead. And it's a really dry cold or a really wet cold, too. No middle ground. Add to that, blizzards every week that bury your entire house and car and the whole street. You gotta be tough to survive here. We don't fuck around. And in summer, 110 degrees. You can literally fry an egg on the hood of your car. People dying of heat stroke right and left. Asphalt so hot you can't even walk on it with shoes on. No in between at all. Everything is extremes here. I call it "The Land of Extremes". -

not exaggerating: anything below 75-degrees and im wearing a jacket. on the other hand, i can do any outdoor physical activity at the peak of the summer heat with no problem. ill be out jogging at 2pm, at the hottest time of the day, and people are asking me if im okay. -

It's also frowned upon to call yourself a "Canadian", because that wouldn't be inclusive and could constitute a hate crime.

its common knowledge that brain with lower IQ, in addition to requiring less sleep, are also more tolerant to operating in extra high temperature and humidities conditions.
a simple calculator would have no problem working at the beach, but not supercomputers tho. -

i have literally been in a professional business setting (basically an office christmas party) and a literal faggot with his literal faggot husband-wife (both were born with a penis) brought the general socio-political topic of faggotry up in conversation...the conversation became heated...everyone had been drinking, except me, then, although i had politely not said a word in the entire discussion, the bottom-fag had the audacity to look right at me and say to another person: (not verbatim...i dont remember the exact words used) 'this is the type of xxxx (i think it said 'cis') discriminatory piece of shit (piece of shit was verbatim) that makes life hard for us xxxxx (some sort of newspeak term for faggots)' at which point i loudly gave my view on faggotry (literally said the term 'faggot' and 'fucking' several times)
