Originally posted by Vizier I didn't know it was such a short anthem. At least it was a minor change; feminazis and the like type everything with 'x' here to include both genders since the spanish language has a word both genders, ie: (boy = niño girl = niña), soy they type "niñx" to include everyone.
I see faggots on places like r/Anarchism saying "latinx". I want to fucking slap those people. It's the same kind of people who are all defensive over others' cultures, yet they think they have the right to alter a fucking language to suit their beliefs. -

Spics are doing it to themselves so it's okay. White people are only using it because spics said it was okay. Blame your spic brothers and sisters and assorted non-binary persons of familial status. -

I don't know a single Hispanic person that calls themselves Latino, let alone that uses that stupidass Latinx bullshit. -

Just lol at how unaware you are. Anyone who uses "latinx" is a feminist Latina. Not a single Latino would use that as a pronoun. -

Now imagine meeting these type of people in real life. The worst offenders are hippies who talk about the conquest of the Americas like some fucking apocalypse and horrible genocides done by the Europeans. While it's true Europeans did a bunch of horrible shit, some of the peoples they conquered were fucking barbaric as well. For instance they romanticize the Aztec Empire forgetting what the word empire means and how they fucking sacrificed people on a daily basis so that the sun would come up.
There were some posts on social media here about the whole Canadian hymn change and one faggot became viral because he said something like "the mexican anthem has a lot of toxic masculinity". What the fuck is toxic masculinity? Why is everyone so soft now? -

Aggressive behavior, rape culture, misogyny; it's the way males are socialized not to give a shit.
And people aren't soft these days - they're finally strong enough to stand up to your toxic shit instead of sitting there and taking it. -

2018-02-06 at 11:10 AM UTCThe new lyric is grammatically correct. It’s not required to be in possessive form. It goes from
“O Canada...true patriot love in all thy sons command” to
“O Canada...true patriot love in all of us command.”
Basically the lyric is a plea for the nation of Canada to instill patriotic love in all its “sons”, or in the second version, in “all of us”. Nothing grammatically wrong with either version.
