It's free will within set parameters, not holistic freedom, but will of choice still exists.
If the choice you are going to make can be predicted before you have made the decision that's not free will. -

Science already has predicted peoples choices in an experiment. I already posted a link to this. Free will doesn't exist.
Even though I cannot personally predict your decisions without monitoring your brain activity we both know that you do not intend or have influence over the various events that cause you to make a particular decision. To claim your will is unaffected by influences outside of it is to claim you are a magical being. -

My will is absolutely affected by outside influences. It causes me to lean one way or another when making my choices.
If science can predict all of our choices, there should be no reason to philosophize or problem solve any longer. -

Prior events don't just cause you to lean one way or the other... they cause your decision. Directly. As in a chain of cause and effect. -

Mostly it has been people claiming they have free will and me explaining why that isn't possible. Do you actually see any flaws in my argument, or are you just going to say more stupid things? -
2018-02-15 at 11:04 PM UTCFor fucks sake this was a gore thread, not a "hey maaan" thread. Who gives a shit if you have free will or not? We do and we do not, both at the same time, idiots.
