The ropes and pulleys attached were designed in such a way that once you were impaled by your asshole on it, they could pull on the ropes and wrench you from side to side, too, as well as up and down. The guy would be raised and dropped and yanked around numerous times until he confessed, at which point he would be legally burned at the stake.

theres nothing imiorally wrong with watching it, but I do think that it can have a negative effect on many people psyche. In a way I think its educational as many americans live in a tiny lil picket fence bubble where everything is candy cane and gum drops in the suburbs and nothing ever really happens... unless you're outside of that bubble.

well thats obvious because people turn into either angels or demons when they die depending on how pure their heart was. I personally believe I will be an angel when I die because I'm a people helper. -
