2018-02-09 at 9:42 PM UTCLanny, what are the financial benefits like at your job? If I was making 150K a year I would have no problem putting away 100K minimum a year. I don't know if there's a limit to employer matching, but if they could it would only take me 5 years to have a million saved (not accounting for compound interest).
If you reach your goal of 2 million by 40 you'll have 200K in interest each year if the average is 10%. It's obscene and I want it. I want to feel better than everyone and spit on the poor. -

Most employers to have a cap for how much they will match 401k. My old job maxed out at 6%, which I thought was reasonable at the time. -

2018-02-09 at 10:09 PM UTCIs there anything other than psychedelics that synergize perfectly with nitrous? It doesn't go with alcohol anything like ether does. The gas sure is great with opiates though.
I bought a 10lb tank a few years back and figured out that 10lbs is way too much for me. That's equivalent to about 550 whippits. Your tolerance also skyrockets; it gets to where you don't even feel high until your face turns blue and you're passing out all the time. I limit myself to a few boxes of whippits now, only to complement other drugs. -

It's common to see a 4 to 8% match in established tech companies (startups usually don't have benefits beyond the sweat equity), I'm at 6. Obviously they cap it, if they didn't it would be like doubling the salary of almost all the close-to-retirement employees. Other people have pointed out the issues with this plan (match cap, contribution cap, taxation on the remainder). Also it's worth pointing out you can't draw on that money until you're like 65, so if you don't want to work that long you need money outside of retirement accounts.
