thats why Kentucky Fried Chickens changes their names from that to KFC, becos they no longer sells fried chickens … just substrates made from reconstituted chickens and what not.
KFC changed their name because the state of Kentucky started charging licensing fees for the word "Kentucky". -

I used to be a fatass vegetarian, but then I switched diets and started eating lots of greens, fats and lean meats. I lost about 30 kilograms, from 115kg to less than 85 kg in one summer just by running and lifting on alternate days, and eating high protein and counting calories (I was eating 1500 calories a day, so about a 1000 calorie deficit). I was able to hold my own in races, which was amazing as I was always fat and I also had a heart operation and cancer and stuff like that.
I kinda got fat lately cos I spend too much time on computers, but I also just wasn't feeling well. I don't know why. I think I feel a little better now. I honestly think it's to do with my gut bacteria.
Originally posted by Captain Falcon I am lean and muscular but my cardio is fucking garbage.
This is the shit workout bros don't tell you: half of the shit talk surrounding cardio is because cardio is fucking hard. Lifting is easy, cardio is killer. Cardio takes time and you actually have to fight against your will to push beyond the point where you're sweating and you're breathing heavy and everything fucking hurts. That shit is tough.
And lifting is what makes you look sexy but cardio is what makes you live past 45.
My cardio used to great when I used to play tennis, I ran a 10-12 minute mile before every single time I set foot in the clubhouse, then played 5+ games in a row and barely broke a sweat, 3-4 times a week.
But now, I run a 12 minute mile and I am done, I couldn't even play 1 game if I tried.
I'm trying to focus more on cardio, I started with the New Year, I feel like I'm going to die at 40 if I don't.
12 minutes is a LONG time for a mile -

Of course. I'm not really going for speed.
When I was playing tennis, I aimed for 10-12 because I was planning to play at least 5 games afterwards. Those were where the stress really came from, since you have to actually sprint in tennis. I could also easily do 7ish if I was just trying to run.
These days my cardio is just dogshit, I noticed while playing basketball that my heart was getting. So the 12 minute mile leaves me depleted. I guess that's what happens when you lift but then just chill most of the day. -
2018-01-08 at 7:14 AM UTCThen why bother doing a mile at all? Fuck all that shit honestly. I exercise to enjoy myself. I enjoy lifting, i enjoy going for long walks, but running is torture. Biking or swimming is way better, and better on your joints too. The way we walk is bad enough. I've been doing the ball forward walk lately (like humans naturally do without flat shoes) and it helps a lot when I'm standing 8hr a day at work.

2018-01-08 at 7:18 AM UTCHi my name is Martin Sweeney and I am in charge of the electrical grid on the eastern seaboard, I have a very important job which I take very seriously. Unfortunately I am the only one who knows how to keep things running which means I can never take a day off work. The pros are that I am paid pretty well and my jobs actually really easy. My boss keeps trying to get me to train a "helper" who I know he would just replace me with so I wont teach him anything.

actually its the KFC executives that secretly lobbied and bribed the state officials into doing so so that they have a legit excuse to change their names. -
