Problem is, there's no real good substitute. I would like to like tofu, but the Chinese like tofu and they always deep fry the hell out of it to make it taste good. So i dont know how viable tofu is as a replacement. Every meatless variant of meat dishes I've tried are completely devoid of soul. I think maybe i should stop trying to substitute and start replacing, but that's way more effort than I've been willing to give.
Never cared for tofu myself. The only "meat-replacement" I like is those black bean burgers. They're still pretty devoid of soul though
Be careful with meat replacements made with soy, it's not good for men
I mostly eat fruit and cooked vegetables now
Last time i was vegetarian, After like 6 months or so, things start tasting better so i was able to eat vegetables I never liked before -

That's more or less a meme. But you need to pay attention to what way your meat is cooked and prepared.
I used to be a fatass vegetarian, but then I switched diets and started eating lots of greens, fats and lean meats. I lost about 30 kilograms, from 115kg to less than 85 kg in one summer just by running and lifting on alternate days, and eating high protein and counting calories (I was eating 1500 calories a day, so about a 1000 calorie deficit). I was able to hold my own in races, which was amazing as I was always fat and I also had a heart operation and cancer and stuff like that.
I kinda got fat lately cos I spend too much time on computers, but I also just wasn't feeling well. I don't know why. I think I feel a little better now. I honestly think it's to do with my gut bacteria. -

BMI is a little tricky, as you can be muscular and heavy.
But one thing I know is that excessively fat people need to reevaluate their lives. Unless they're sick or something I have nothing but disdain for people who can't even regulate their own weight within some sort of normal bounds. I've been fairly fat before, BMI of 32 or so IIRC, and I know how much you need to eat and how little exercise you need to do to get to that sort of weight. -

2018-01-08 at 12:42 AM UTCI am lean and muscular but my cardio is fucking garbage.
This is the shit workout bros don't tell you: half of the shit talk surrounding cardio is because cardio is fucking hard. Lifting is easy, cardio is killer. Cardio takes time and you actually have to fight against your will to push beyond the point where you're sweating and you're breathing heavy and everything fucking hurts. That shit is tough.
And lifting is what makes you look sexy but cardio is what makes you live past 45.
My cardio used to great when I used to play tennis, I ran a 10-12 minute mile before every single time I set foot in the clubhouse, then played 5+ games in a row and barely broke a sweat, 3-4 times a week.
But now, I run a 12 minute mile and I am done, I couldn't even play 1 game if I tried.
I'm trying to focus more on cardio, I started with the New Year, I feel like I'm going to die at 40 if I don't. -
