"100-150mg bundy wouldn't cause what I call dissociation. More like feeling a bit off.
Dissociation from bundy comes from the mid second plateau.
Dissociation from alcohol comes when you're WASTED, not drunk, and it's recreational effects are overwhelmed by the negative effects (puking, blackout) and the GABA effects.
But yeah, if you're WASTED, it's kinda like a Very very VERY dirty dose of K"
agree or disagree? -
2017-12-28 at 9:35 AM UTCI still don't really know what dissociation is. I've taken respectable doses of MXE and bundy (at least for someone with no tolerance) and the experience is, uhh, IDK it's mood altering but not qualitatively different than baseline. Being blotto drunk makes you feel like you're controlling your body by puppetry at times which sorta sounds like what people talking about dissociation mean but like qualia and all that, kinda hard to say
-
2017-12-28 at 9:37 AM UTCmuh qualiaaaa
dissociation is feleing like something is very very synthetic and off+ ego death. like being in a computer simulation. if youve taken enough /dis/ to actually have a trip youd know. didnt you do bcb once -
2017-12-28 at 9:39 AM UTCthe fuck is bcb?

You didn't take enough. Unless you can close your eyes and take a journey through the walls of your brain you're not experiencing all of what k/mxe has to offer -
2017-12-28 at 9:47 AM UTClol, nah, never done pcp.
I took a hella dose of memantine once. Heard people call that dissociative but IDK. That made me feel like nothing was real and I was going to be like that and sleep deprived forever. Potentially one of my worst drug experiences despite being a fairly subtle perceptual change. -
2017-12-28 at 9:48 AM UTCbundy does that too
i dont know why no one ever realizes some people prefer bundy to ketamine
it gets looked down on because its legal (so is alcohol) and 14 year olds can buy it (become scat porn fiends at 28) cuz of marketing by jedi nose knows farma juju -

so then you do know what dissociation is
now associate this memory with my previous question of being comparable with extreme doses of alcohol where it becomes an NMDA receptor antagonist -

Nah, I've spent a lot of time being as drunk as you can be without passing out. Never felt like that, or at least if it did (I guess there is kind of a sense of caring absolutely nothing) it's just vanishingly minor relative to the sedation, GABA feel, and equilibrium wonkiness. -
2017-12-28 at 9:59 AM UTCyeah its only a minor NMDA antagonist
but i wonder if "the spins" are due to NMDA antagonism, i get that all of the time from high doses of bundy, even had my vision somersault repeatedly once, but benzos dont cause it even though alch and benz both mainly act on GABA-A receptors, so i think the spins might be due to NMDA antagonism -

I think it's just the nystagmus that makes the room spin -
2017-12-28 at 10:18 AM UTCyeah but what causes the nystagmus? if alcohol causes it and benzos dont, but they both act on the GABA-A receptor, that means the GABA-A receptor isnt responsible for the nystagmus
