Sure, but i don't think 3.50 an hour is minimum wage is it? I thought the whole point of tips was because there was no minimum wage in some jobs like for people that wait tables and shit. -

The federal minimum wage for service workers like this is $2.13/h and they are still required to make normal minimum wage with tips, which is why you saw the conversation earlier in here about only reporting tips up to minimum wage and then hiding the rest to avoid paying taxes on it. -

Tipped employees have a lower minimum wage, but if you don't make the normal minimum wage from tips, your employer is obligated to make up the difference and bring you up to the normal minimum wage. -

People who get tips make less money as far as minimum wage goes, but if they don't make enough then their employer is supposed to give them enough so they do, but usually that doesn't happen. -

I won't pretend my Chinese is up to par but I can easily learn enough to do directions, and that's part of the adventure yah? I'm thinking Summer but June-September is rainy season in China so I don't know how that'll go. I'd prefer October but that gets in the way of school.
Apparently the people/police are really helpful. More so than here. When I hitchhiked here I got kicked out of town by a fat cop and had to walk like three hours to the next spot. -
