Grandpa approved of me and lit all his stupid candles, but he's dead, and now I have to appease my surrogate blue grandfather. I "beat" the game, but did I really beat the game? I have to reach the summit. I have gone from cultivating crops to being a cultivator. I will achieve perfection and become a xian, and Mr. Qi will reward me.

VouchersWaivers for G500,000 each. And that only gets you 1% towards the total of 100%. 1%. That means paying some fraction of G50,000,000. I think last time I checked my perfection level was like 14%? That can't be right... but maybe? If so, that's... what? Fourty-three million moneys.
Or I can actually do everything manually. Like cooking every item in the game. And crafting every item in the game. And shipping every item in the game. Doing a lot of the stuff I have left is pure RNG. Like completing the fucking museum collection GOD DAMNIT I'M MISSING LIKE 3 ITEMS AND EVEN IF I SCOUR THE FOREST ALL WINTER THERE'S NO GUARANTEE I'M GOING TO FIND THE STUPID FUCKING SWORD ARTIFACT I NEED. Also: I don't know what I did with the only Void Egg my stupid husband has given me, but it's gone, and I still need to ship one of those. RNG. Or the witch could come in the night and molest my chickens - that'd get me a Void Egg too. RNG. Or I can check the stupid travelling merchant twice a week and hope they have one in their rotating stock. RNG.
My options are to wait for RN-fucking-G while keeping all the townsfolk happy, or play for like 600 years doing nothing but diligently farming starfruit and turning it into starfruit wine and selling it. FUCK. -

Noita is too much for me. I more-or-less get the wand mechanics but there's so much CONTENT, and having to accomplish anything with just one life is so much to ask. It presents as a simple case of "go down until you find the boss, then kill the boss" (which is already really hard!) but then there are like 5 other games worth of things to do -- obscure and puzzling side objectives that are arguably the true main objective, and which could have been the main objectives of their own games. And if you're aiming to complete any one of them, you're aiming to do it on one life (or two, if you luck out with perks). Too much stress for my poor little heart.
Watching skilled Noita players makes me feel like I shouldn't even bother. It's honestly fucked how easy some people make that shit look.
