Was ACS good? Like I get that part of the appeal is that the esoteric wuxia shit is supposed to be total batshit nonsense and youβre probably supposed to lean on the wiki heavily, but even with that the progression felt sooooo fucking uneven and it was hard to tell if any of the bullshit I was doing was working well or just kinda working but not correctly because every gauge in the game seems to be from 0 to a billion and having a value of 70 means your save is fucked, but 79 and youβre on your way to becoming a god

It was a lot of fun, but I never came close to beating it, or even close to making a decent golden core (or whatever it's called). I'll probably re-immerse myself in it someday, but yeah. If there's a wiki to rely on, I don't remember using it much - the shitty google docs sseth linked to in his video, and the discord server seemed far more handy. It single-handedly got me into xianxia stuff though (that is, I watched a couple bootleg Chinese cultivation anime), so that says...
something... for it.
