Three more things about Mirt:
1.) I never said it was useless, I clearly stated that it did lead to a reduction in rating scales.
2.) There's always variation in response. Some will have a response above the mean.
3.) The genuine mean reduction in scales can be significantly lower than what's commonly stated due to the corrupting influence of the pharmaceutical industry or a misinterpretation of the data.
I'd actually really like to try a powerful antihistamine in conjunction with Nardil. I would take it if it was offered to me.

Was just browsing Reddit and found this little gem :
Following oral administration, dextromethorphan is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, where it enters the bloodstream and crosses the blood–brain barrier.[citation needed]
At therapeutic doses, dextromethorphan acts centrally (meaning that it acts on the brain) as opposed to locally (on the respiratory tract). It elevates the threshold for coughing, without inhibiting ciliary activity. Dextromethorphan is rapidly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and converted into the active metabolite dextrorphan in the liver by the cytochrome P450 enzyme CYP2D6. The average dose necessary for effective antitussive therapy is between 10 and 45 mg, depending on the individual. The International Society for the Study of Cough recommends "an adequate first dose of medication is 60 mg in the adult and repeat dosing should be infrequent rather than the qds recommended."[33]
The duration of action after oral administration is about three to eight hours for dextromethorphan-hydrobromide, and 10 to 12 hours for dextromethorphan-polistirex. Around one in 10 of the Caucasian population has little or no CYP2D6 enzyme activity, leading to long-lived high drug levels.[33]

My new goal in life is to become the first non-white Grand Wizard of the Klu Klux Klan.
The following users say it would be alright if the author of this

That doesn't sound worse than the average junkie. I had things like ripping off friends, stealing from family, fucking over people you care about, those that don't really deserve it, maybe going as far as to steal from charities or even children.
The average hardcore junkie leaves a trail of destruction far worse than yours. You're being too hard on yourself.

You think average junkies are going into a dying patients room and stealing a couple hundred milligrams of fentanyl right out of their IV?

You can't fixate on single acts. Let's say you could somehow create a scale and accurate measurements for the cumulative negative utility you've caused. The average junkie has caused far more lasting harm than that if you're able to set aside your emotions and view it from a purely rational, detached, viewpoint.
His suffering was about to come to an end. Junkies generally pray on the living and can cause so much damage to people's lives that it can last for the rest of their victims lives.
