   BTW, PoC, Lanny has a wordenhancement in place for our amusement and it changes certain words automatically. Recently he added autis*m, which converts to AIDS, and auti*sim spectrum and aut*istic turn to AIDS patientic. I don't have AIDS, fortunately.

   He needs Haldol or Ativan for terminal agitation. He was only getting 1mg Dilaudid every 4 hours as needed (i.e., he had to ask for it). Now he's on a fentanyl drip with a bolus of 100mcg as needed. Doctor doesn't want to prescribe multiple CNS depressants because it will depress his breathing (as if he's going to be getting any better).
   
   Today he asked me why the Lord won't take him already. It's fucking sad man, this is why I don't want to deal with patients.

    That has to be one of the harder parts of that kind of job, the whole necessity of having to avoid emotional bonds with the patients. I'm sorry man, I hope it gets better for you.

    Have you recommended RC benzos or darknet markets to him? Add some T-PAIN as well, it prevents respiratory depression. Well, at least for morphine it does, likely for other opioids. He'll probably be safe on that combo and it should be affordable unless they're broke.

    Yeah I fucked up. His daughter lives in Texas and was just visiting him before he got so bad, but now he's dying alone and seemingly in agony. I really shouldn't get close to patients but at the same time, developing a rapport with them is an important part of the job. I'm going to go to his funeral, IDGAF what my boss says about it.
    
    Malice, I'm not going to order drugs or suggest he orders drugs from the internet no matter how much they would help.

    What if you just print out the information and leave it somewhere where he'll find it? It's a terrible fucked up situation to be in. Think of how much his pain will be eased, seeing the improvement in him and possibly hearing him express his gratitude to the mysterious, anonymous, stranger. It could help you feel better about some of the terrible things you've done, the kind of person you are. Balance out the universe.

    He's not really lucid at this point. If you speak to him he will look at you but he can't answer questions or respond to commands like to squeeze your hand or whatnot.
