There's a difference between enjoying drugs and bring a degenerate. Jerking off is great, but I'm not a chronic masturbator. Food is great but I'm not obese. Don't you have any discipline?

The Mirtazapine needs time to start working. I should get some tian to tide me over in these times. Probably will pick up a liter of Evan Williams while I'm out today to tide me over. Hydro doesn't like me drinking but I don't have much choice.

I say pretty much the same thing all the time. there's drug users and junkies, and the junkies give the rest of us a bad name. I only use occasionally for the exact reason of not becoming a desperate junkie. I learned that lesson years ago, the hard way.

You have me confused for some other mentally disturbed individual.

I do have that aut*ism power and can remember people's lives better than they do. It just came to mind as a funny memory.

I moved up to 60mg sometime during the last 5 days or so and seem to handle it fine. No side effects or food interactions so far as long as you increase the dose slowly and start low, I've been monitoring my blood pressure and heart rate.

60 seems to be the dose most people require based on what I've read at socialanxietysupport.com. I think it may be starting to really kick in, there's definitely been an improvement in mood compared to shortly before I started. Anxiety is more complicated, but that effect may be kicking in as well, although I may have to combine it with some nortriptyline I plan to buy from a online pharmacy someone recommended to me (https://www.pharmacygeoff.md), which reduces the effect on norepinephrine, eliminates the need for the diet, and can improve sleep.

It's really unfortunate that they put you on mirtazapine because mirt is not an antidepressant. This is information I came across years ago, and fortunately I still remembered it and found the exact information I needed, a comprehensive article, on the site of the psychiatrist who's a strong advocate of MAOIs and provided great info to me: www.psychotropical.com/anti-depressants/tcas/2-uncategorised/130-mirtazapine-tranylcypromine

Mirtazapine is essentially just an antihistamine, a modified version of an older drug whose patent expired. The powerful antihistamine effects can reduce the score on a depression rating scale by a small amount, but that isn't the same thing as a true antidepressant effect. Some of the questions on those scales involve appetite, sleep, and anxiety, all of which can be helped slightly by Mirt.

To give an example of what I mean by it not being a true antidepressant, benzos have been found to have the same effect of reducing the score on the rating scale, possibly by a comparable, or even slightly superior, amount compared to SSRIs, Mirt, and drugs that are similar in (in)efficacy. An even better example is opioids. Until the early 1900s laudanum, a tincture of opium, was the standard treatment for melancholic depression, possibly multiple forms of depression, at least at some time. Regardless of the side effects, long term sustainability, and other risks and issues involved, pretty everyone who has taken them and responds well to them can understand why they would likely significantly reduce ratings of depression, to a considerably higher extent than the vast majority of antidepressants. They don't properly address the underlying deficits and neurological alterations in the form that MAOIs do.

Mirtazapine doesn't work. I mean, if the antihistamine effect has a positive effect on you and there are no serious side effects or risks (Not familiar with it, so I can't help you here.), you should keep taking it, but there's pretty much no chance it's going to have a particularly strong effect on your core depression.

Good god, I didn't know Caltech was so selective. An 8% acceptance rate (About the same as MIT) and the average SAT and ACT scores are actually higher. SAT is close to perfect and ACT is in the 99 percentile: https://www.google.com/search?q=caltech&oq=caltech&aqs=chrome.0.0l6.3260j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

It does help considerably, it's been clinically proven. It's helped me in the past with depression also.

Malice means well but sometimes you have to take what you need from his info and leave the rest.
