I got fit when I was about 30, and did so from a very low level of fitness (literally feeling faint when standing up), to the point where I was running 10ks.
Joining the army is good, I don't see any downside. -

What the fuck, imagine going to bootcamp at 57. I think the US army upped it to around 43 when they couldn't get enough people during the gulf war. -

This is not meant to grow population dumbass. It’s meant to be a utopian safe haven for libertarian tech bros. They’ll most likely be LEAVING places like SF and Palo Alto to go over there which should ease congestion for those places and make way for more tent cities and open air drug markets -

Age limits

Each branch of the military has age limits to enlist in active duty:
Air Force: 17 - 39
Army: 17 - 35
Coast Guard: 17 - 31
Marine Corps: 17 - 28
Navy: 17 - 39
Space Force: 17 - 39
The age limits are different if you join as an officer or join the Guard or Reserve.
I just don't get why Canadia allows people 8 years away from standard retirement age to join. -
