Unfortunately there's a huge gap in my work history, which I could always explain as having been dealing with a medical condition and practically bedridden until I received an effective treatment. Maybe they'll even get some perks from the American's With Disabilities Acts (although, this may actually have reduced the employment of the disabled, at least those that require expensive accommodations).

I have no idea what to do. Maybe I'll hit up Casper for advice. He was literally a drug dealer and doing other stuff off the books for like 10 years, although he was also living with his mom because he blew it all on his insane heroin usage. Last I heard he managed to get a job at UPS and doesn't feel like such a loser anymore, he's at least getting out, is around some good people, and getting some exercise, something to keep busy. Although from what I've heard he's probably still pretty fucking depressed and some have mentioned he pops in from time to time, sometimes drunk, and alludes to suicide.

You can definitely scam your way into well paying positions and face few repercussions other than being fired if you're caught.

There's also the department of rehabilitation that was recommended to me once.

Another option is community college to get accredited for some quick vocational program. Not like I'd have any problem passing any of them since the people in those tend to be stupid as ever loving shit (also known as average).

I just need to rack up that cash.

Going to ease into it by volunteering at some animal sanctuaries nearby first, though. Look into other volunteer opportunities.

Hey thats great to hear man, if you need help with a resume let me know.

You should also look at maybe trying to start your own side business or something, right now is the perfect time because the internet is booming you are not just limited to your geographic area.

Captain Falcon, yes. The no sex part was because shit didn't even start as a date and because we both had fast food and smoked cigarettes. I probably should have went for a kiss at the end but I honestly didn't want non of that.

She figuratively squirted all over my brain, though. That's the part I'm shocked about.

I'm a fucking infovore. I'm addicted to acquiring information to the exclusion of all else. I care more about data than I do people.

This has been one of my major problems in life, what kept me in this cycle. Tyler Cowen has some interesting writing about autistic traits and these thought patterns that are integral to it.

An old classmate that aged so incredibly well, I think she's 25 now. She was kind of a tomboy in school and we were only in a class for one year and didn't have much contact. I always liked her because she was a weirdo but then we didn't have contact for more than 5 years and she was the last person contacting me on my old Facebook account.

I think this is going to be a trippy summer. Oh boy.

Do you have any previous job experience? Hobbies?. If you can you should try to find a local community job coucelling/training center that can hook you up with government resources that will pay for training for things like first aid, licenses and help you on your resume, cover letter and help you get work clothes even.

Some entry level jobs, fast food (its lame I know but I hear McDonalds has a fantastic training system, you have to be REALLY stupid to fuck up, niggers and immigrants, teengars excel at this). Working at retail stores stocking shelves, cashier (are you Bondable? this is an asset), food trucks, stands, Dishwasher, Landscaping, Factory work, Temp Agency.

Find a good job searching website (I use a site called Indeed), check multiple listings, newspaper, word of mouth. Ultimately I have gotten the most success from NETWORKING!! its a fantastic asset, even if you are a shut in NEET networking can be a useful tool.

Look out for casual and part time labor as well, summer jobs, seasonal work, agricultural stuff if you live in the right area. Volunteering might even be an option if it can lead to something else, getting yourself out there is important.

You can use all these skills to help you make money also. I have been in that boat many times where I think "if I just had X amount of dollars I would be fine right now" but life almost never works out that way, living costs, working costs. You should try to get yourself some kind of steady income that isn't disability or welfare, $100 a day is my baseline, if I can make that much every day or get close I feel like survival becomes easier every day.

Trading crypto currency and selling stuff takes very little effort. Even if you can make $20 a day doing some kind of little home project thing like google adsense.

Once you aren't just living off whatever you got and you actually have cash flow, you are out of the red you can start thinking about ways to turn what little you have into much more. Look around you, what resources do you have?.

Start by looking around your house, maybe in the basement, attic, garage for things you no longer use that you can sell for extra money, cut down on expenses and clutter at the same time. I was completely hopeless but I put that energy towards looking for resources and I found $300 worth of copper around the crack shack totally unforgotten unused scrap, it helped me get where I am today, I was thankful for every aluminum can I found.

Next you can look around your yard, neighborhood, are there trees around? Maybe you live near the forest you can pick mushrooms or berries. Use nature to your advantage, get into gardening even simple things to eat, maybe you can sell seedling plants at the farmers market.

Look around your town/city for opportunities, there is always something, money is made from information, loopholes, tricks, knowledge and skills. You will learn more about the world around you and figure out ways for you to interact with it more for you benefit, it's easy, it's fun, it's survival.

Just take it one day at a time, set small realistic goals and don't isolate yourself, keep busy with hobbies and try to interact with your local community even if its just reading a paper or watching the news or something.

Always be on the look out for deals to buy things that are have some sort of commercial worth for a reduced rate and sell it to a business, or you can use it yourself to make money somehow, one mans trash is anothers treasure.

Yeah. I ate a bottle at work, whenever my bundy abuse gets really bad the universe seems to bless me, this is the second front page flush that happened since st.patricks and its always the thursday night before payday walking around my neighborhood.

Last time I only got a gram though and it was cut to hell and it was so long since I had it.. I binged the entire gram when I was supposed to capsule it and save it for a concert in July (no regrets). As soon as I could tell this deal was legit I ordered an 8ball, almost got a fucking quarter but glad I didn't because word spread quickly that some young white dude with unlimited supply of meth pipes, cash and beer is walking around acting like a complete mongolroy talking about next level triangles and shit.

They were all VERY respectful like they have never seen someone with an 8ball and their own meth pipes before?, I guess people just aren't generous around here or used to kindness... I was like PACK THESE FUCKING PIPES UP GIRLS LETS DO THIS!!! they were like "no no no no I cant thats yours I would feel so bad no no" like I was luring them in.. damn.

The hooker that phoned up the local dealer (who had the same first name as me) says "Yeah a fucking 8ball! I know right am I the best or what!, no im not lying!". I knew right there this was for real, no way in hell she was faking a phone call like that. I made the junkies happy that night, I had like 5 hookers following me around shouting my name every time I tried to get away, dealers walking up to me constantly, I was giving out pipes, beers, two packs of smokes. People were trying to sell me all kinds of stolen shit, I was SO FUCKING PARANOID about the cops I'm like "YOU GUYS I HAVE TO GET THE FUCK OFF THE STREETS NOW!"

Thats how I ended up at this 60 year old grandmas house, met more tech users, had the raunchiest dirtiest sex of my life with the grandma once everyone left, probably contracted several STDs partying with her. I gave her so much money oh my God she was such a fucking wreck but she has her own house. The party started getting a little too fucked up for me once children and the elderly became involved in this madness.

I just wanted to get my drugs and get the fuck out of there, I don't know what came over me, I wasn't even high but I just wanted to FUCK so bad I missed work to fuck that grandma, god dammit. She has my phone number she keeps phoning me.
I became very close with the local native american community of hard drug users.

I guess I was just lonely.

You need to find ways to occupy yourself that don't reinforce pathological behavior.

scronoldo hit the nail on the head with "small realistic goals", you need to build up some soft skills before you're going to be employable. You're not going to go out and pick up a job as a cutthroat stock broker because you're a misanthrope. Volunteering at animal shelters is a great idea. Honestly I think the best thing would probably be to pick up an unskilled position, IT, librarian, clerical work, whatever to readjust to being in the workforce and build up some recent work history.

Longer term I think software development has one of the highest lifetime earning to training ratios of any occupation because it's considered professional and is paid as such without requiring a 4 year degree, although you'd have to judge if you think you could make it through a "bootcamp" type program, many people find they're just not very good at programming regardless of their intelligence (if you're interested this is a very famous paper on this phenomenon in CS education, and the same applies to development, I may have linked it before).

Construction trades are also typically comparatively low training to income, I don't know how you feel about manual labor.

There are also jobs in the medical industry that pay reasonably well without requiring a 4 year degree. I don't think nursing falls into that category anymore but there are other jobs in that realm. I think CNA is one of them?

Tomboys are the best. Standard women are so fucking dull, uninteresting, and just fucking horrible beneath the surface, which is most apparent after your brain snaps out of the lovey dovey phase.

Just for fun you should have her take the autism/Aspergers quotient test with you. Just have a suspicion. Aspergers was first researched in Germany, you know.

But, hmm, if I’m right, it does cause serious issues in relationships that you’d need to be aware of and know how to deal with.

You’ll see what I mean in time if she is on the spectrum.
