    How do you think I'm a 4 time felon and never seen prison and only did a year in county cuz I was homeless and hadn't talked to my folks in about 3 years and didn't want 2 years of probation when I could just sit and work maintenence and go all over the jail and get swole. Probation/drug court and all that is a trick to get u to the joint it's like having g a fish hook directly to jail in your mouth at all times. Fuck that

    Yup the system is definitely designed to perpetuate itself. Probation is different here and is basically just a loose monitoring system that usually just results in a minor criminal charge if violated. A Conditional sentence or parole have much more serious consequences. Probation in the states seems like it has the potential to resentence you, has basically no limit on conditions that can be imposed and can exist on both state and federal level.
