   That's what acting is. it's not about being or becoming that you may love or hate. Your acting instructor may ask you "What's your favorite films". She or He isn't being nice and sociable. If you say Comedy they will say "Good, Here is" and hands you a cold read script from Drama or something non comedic.

   as far as Unions go, I was a former (idle card) member of Hotel Workers SEIU (for Maintenance), UFCW Commercial Food, and was working on trying to get a B card (before an A obviously) during the Gulf War in 91 when a friend of mine told me to go down to the docks because they were hiring for loading tanks. it was really hard to stay on because of the amount of people lined up and who got picked.
