Are we seriously treating this like an accident? How can that be an accident?

Loaded gun, pointed, trigger pulled. Where is the accident?

It's not complicated. It's not an accident when you point a loaded gun at someone and pull the trigger. What was the objective? A joke? Laugh it off over the next 25 years in jail, fuckface.

Put. That coffee. Down. Coffee is for non-murderers. You think I'm fucking with you? I am not fucking with you.

And the freak continues the conspiracy. It was 100% an accident.

If an adult points a real gun at me and pulls the trigger then it doesn't matter if it's just a joke bro, the gun is going up their ass.

This should be the law. Baldy should have the gun inserted forcibly up his asshole by the male relatives of the deceased, ahead of his murder trial.

It will be ruled an accident by normal people, not freaks like you!

Originally posted by Meikai I agree that his actions were negligent, especially for someone who seems generally fearful of firearms. A reasonable person must assume every firearm is loaded, but it's the set armorer's job to ensure that isn't the case when it reaches the hands of an actor. Firing a gun towards the camera for a shot may necessitate aiming the gun toward other people (which is what I suspect happened, since he tagged the cinematographer and director). It's not murder. At worst, negligent homicide. Words have meanings.

I have highlighted in bold the parts of your post that aren't true.

"Prop guns" are not toys. At best, you have semi-automatic "prop guns" which are just guns that have been rigged to properly cycle when blanks are fired. A prop revolver is just a revolver. And even if you want to classify "gun loaded with blanks" a toy, you're wrong. Blanks are still dangerous. Not to mention the risk of what happened to Brandon Lee, although that's the armorer's responsibility.

We already know that America doesn't send the wealthy to prison.

It cannot be proven or disproven at this time whether it was an accident or not.

They're all true though. It is 100% the set armorer's responsibility to ensure the firearms are safe to use for whatever the next shot in the film requires. Which means, you know, checking to make sure there are no live rounds in it for whatever reason.

Well I did not know that. I did remember what happened with Brandon Lee and the “blank” wad! I thought they were mostly toy-like guns after what happened to Brandon Lee.

A cinema blank is a live round. It just doesn't have a significant bullet attached. It's still explosive and dangerous. We need real regulation of this sort of shit.

this was clearly not an accident, the story makes no sense. obvious cover-up for some kind of moloch cocaine cult and they filmed her murder with A FUCKING ACTOR and handed the tape right to the cops and paid them off

    I wonder what she knew

Better still, ban portrayal of guns from all media. The media portrayal of guns is the leading cause of systemic gun culture, which is a manifestation of white supremacy. Ban guns (and violence) from film.

Sadly there's no good substitute for "a gun going BANG" like a (more-or-less) real gun going BANG.

There is. No gun. Ban guns from the media. Studies show that the Jhwish media portrayal of gun violence is the #1 contributor to systemic racism.

With all the money spent on special effects these days. They can’t replicate the sound of a gun?

I have watched many whole 90 minute films the plot of which can be surmised that two fat and lazy Americans are trying to shoot each other.

Enough is enough. Stop the violence.

The funny part is I'm pretty sure they don't even use the sound from the set. Probably foley, all done in post. It's just to get the look and feel right I think.

Blanks don't look real either, the muzzle flash is ridiculous compared to a real bullet.

It's just so that dumbass actors act it out a little better.

They usually manage to do so without killing half the production crew too.

I think they use the noise from a balloon for gunshots. Its louder, less sharp, more dramatic and less likely to destroy the speakers in movie theaters or blow out ear drums when turned up +20dB
