Its the opposite, in a way. God wants us to believe he wants exclusive devotion, and he wants us to think if we don't worship him, we will suffer eternally, but what believers don't know is that the consequences are the opposite. God wants us to think for ourselves. Those who can deny "God's rules" even in fear of the consequences, are the ones God ends up rewarding in the end. Those who blindly follow God are the ones he is ashamed of, and who will suffer eternal hell in the afterlife. God doesn't want blind followers. God wants those who can go against that, despite the supposed negative consequences. Integrity. -

Even if that were the case, said ant would never be able to comprehend the human experience and would therefore never be able to accurately describe our intent and or motivations.
Humans exist on an entirely different level compared to ants. And so does these godlike beings compared to us.
Its an entirely different playing field.
The only advantage ants has over us, is that we actually exist in their world. Gods have yet to appear in ours, at least under normal circumstances. And its so simple. All we would ever need was for some divine being to appear and show itself to us, just for a few seconds. And then everyone would worship. Has this happened? no. Why not? because these beings are not gods and if they are, they are not interested. Don't imbue these entities with your human concepts.
