china sells anything the west wants to buy according to the principal of free market and trade, including tourists and harmless fentanyls. it is up the wisdom of chinas customers on what to import from china and how to utilize them without negative consequences.
did china put a gun to trumps, or anyone elses head for that matter head and say give us visa ?
Why would either of those two things make any difference?
Corona pops up next to the lab researching corona, it doesn't matter how it got loose, all that matters is that it did, and it needs to be covered up. And it doesn't matter why your customers buy your wares. -

accountability seems to be the thing when they're trying to pin the thing on china.
and like i said, it is the responsibility of each individual country to keep their respective country safe and their border secure from foreign threats, not china.
it is not the responsibility of china to baby sit your country and decides whats good for you and what should be barred from entering your country.
it is your own responsibility. -

im telling you this is how the world works.
I don't buy it.
I imagine China were going to close the airports, but were pressured to stay open by trading partners and businesses who export abroad - and rich people who wanted to leave. -

If the Irish government developed a bioweapon, and it escaped, and was spreading in whiskey, then yes I would, as they wouldn't want their weapon to be studied by foreign scientists or to poison the drinkers of Irish whiskey. -

A provision entered into the stimulus package & voted in by Senate Democrats will allow Americans to make more money by "staying on" Unemployment than by working. Sen. Ben Sasse offered an amendment that would cap peopleās unemployment at 100% of peopleās paychecks; yet, every Senate Democrap, except Joe Manchin(D) was in favor of this ābloatedā provision.
Amendments: H.R.748 ā 116th Congress (2019-2020)
2. S.Amdt.1577 to S.Amdt.1578 ā 116th Congress (2019-2020)
Purpose: To ensure that additional unemployment benefits do not result in an individual receiving unemployment compensation that is more than the amount of wages the individual was earning prior to becoming unemployed.
Sponsor: Sen. Sasse, Ben [R-NE] (Submitted 03/25/2020) (Proposed 03/25/2020)
Latest Action: 03/25/20 Amendment SA 1577, under the order of 3/25/20, not having achieved 60 votes in the affirmative, was not agreed to in Senate by Yea-Nay Vote. 48 - 48. Record Vote Number: 79.

2020-04-25 at 12:44 PM UTCWell Iām unemployed and I thought that was pretty stupid - however, even with the max payout Iām still not making enough.
My Cobra will go into effect 6/30/20 - 600 bucks a month for just me.
My industry will be lucky to see enough bounce back by May of next year.
P.S going into week 6 and still not a single unemployment check -

If you are single & w/o dependants- you are probably going to "wait" until Families or Head of Households with Dependant Children get paid.
*just how the ball rolls... You're gonna wait in line. -

Exactly this. Everybody complaining about it being too much is retarded. Remember when it was gonna be 2k? 1200 is just enough to barely get by for the month. If people are making less than that then there's something wrong with wages. -

Considering that these bills are only temporary measures, itās highly unlikely that it would ākeep Americans unemployedā. Thatās taking it a bit far.
Was it a dumb? Donāt fully know their motives, so I canāt say. From the surface it seems dumb.
But it takes a two party system to balance things out, which is exactly what we have, (barring the few independents). -

In Ohio it would mean roughly 1000.00 a week.
456.00 I believe is the max regular weekly unemployment wage pretax.
The fedgov is adding 600.00 to the weekly I believe. Now I have to look it up. Iāve burned a few brain cells the past 3 days. -
