Unlike China Americans and Europeans don't/won't wear masks and don't have the societal organisation or the will to do extraordinary things to get rid of viruses. That's what living in a globalised heterogenous diverse and multicultural society is like.

What a stupid thing to say. The point is to try and stop it from spreading, or at least slow it down. How can you do that if you don’t know who has it.

Yes. That's what we should do for everything. If you're ever sick and go to the hospital for any reason there should be no tests done. The doctor should just look at you for a few seconds and then randomly point into a medical dictionary and do whatever their finger lands on. -
