2021-11-30 at 1:40 AM UTC in Manning up during a global pandemaA coronavirus is an airborne virus. If you have the coronavirus, every breath you exhale has million of coronavirus particles in it. The mask is totally pointless. The only way you're not going to transmit a coronavirus is to stop breathing, or if you are the only person in the world.

2021-11-30 at 1:29 AM UTC in What strain are you smoking right nowSugar Candy Marijuana Strain
Sativa Dominant Hybrid - 60% Sativa / 40% Indica
THC: 22% - 25%
Sugar Candy is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid strain (60% sativa/40% indica) created through crossing the delicious Sugar Black Rose X Caramelo strains. Ready for a sweet taste of this delicious treat? Sugar Candy has a super sugary and flowery flavor that's filled with sour citrusy mango and light licorice candy. The aroma is of sharp mint and flowery lavender, accented by touches of licorice and sour citrus that are pretty mellow overall. The Sugar Candy is just as sweet, with effects that are perfect for helping you kick back when you need to. That being said, this bud does pack a super high level of potency, with about 22-25% on average, so mind your dosage. The high comes on with a heavy rush of heady euphoria, launching your mind into an uplifted and happy state that's hazy and stoney yet somehow energizing. A sedative body high creeps into the picture next, sneaking up on you before leaving you helplessly couch-locked. With these effects, Sugar Candy is often said to be perfect for treating chronic pain, inflammation, spasticity, depression, chronic stress and cramps or muscle spasms. This bud has super dense and heavy long neon green nugs with purple leaves, thin amber hairs and a coating of frosty purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. -

I'm not kidding, though. With this court decision, if a Democrat is threatening a Republican, and the Republican has a fear his life is in danger, the Republican can legally start shooting to kill. What part about this precedent don't you understand? -
2021-11-30 at 1:24 AM UTC in Lala is teaching me how to driveThe kicker was, once Jeff finally did show up, he only made one post: "Oh, I enabled my WYSIWYG editor and I can post now!", which was directly after a post I made in the very same thread using his own spare administrator EnigmA account he hadn't used for years. He never even noticed my post on his own account, and then took off again for weeks. Metaphysicist was like... "WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK!!" I had to chuckle. Finally, to be a good sport, I agreed I wouldn't punt any more spammers, but it took them another few weeks to finally reach Jeff and demote me back to a regular and make a new Half Baked forum. In the meantime, I copied the entire restricted Mods & Admins forum.

2021-11-30 at 1:14 AM UTC in What are you thinking about....I was a chimney sweep for many years, and in almost every case the customer had all the tarps and sheets already spread out. Of course, if the customer didn't, then the task would fall to me. If they left damage or a mess, they have to pay for the repair or cleaning.

Meta showed up in the morning and was shocked to find out I was his new co-mod. Then he started yelling and getting all upset, because he couldn't remove me. Zok couldn't remove me either. Only Jeff himself could remove me, and Jeff was an absent dictator and hadn't been around for months. Then I started punting kidiots and spammers, which outraged Metaphyscist even more. Then I hard-deleted the entire Half Baked forum, which made them explode in fury and anger and hopelessness. It really was the hack of the century. -

There's morons who do the exact same thing to lakefront properties. They build dams upstream and choke off all the water, until all the docks and moored boats are sitting on mud and weeds. -

Originally posted by Obbe ‘All the trees have died’: Iraqis face intensifying water crisis
Iraqis struggle to cope with depleted water resources, exacerbated by climate change and disputes with neighbours.

Nothing to do with the climate. The real reason is right in the article:
"Diminishing water levels in the two rivers that feed Iraq are partly attributed to numerous dam projects upstream in Turkey and Iran."
And it's not "partly attributed", it's the only reason the rivers are drying up.
