From the reviews it seems like 80% of that game is just the aesthetic which is admittedly very cool. But Witcher 3 was pretty buggy on release too and turned out to be a fantastic game, so I think they'll iron everything out.
They took fucking forever to make it though, there's really no excuse lol. After the release date got pushed back and back and back? They fucked up.

Like, you can tell which forests are cultivated forests and which are true wild forest. Bathhouses are always by a river because they need water, as are the charcoal burners. You'll never find the executioner in town. Learning to read as adult henry is appropriately dyslexic. You can spot all the shit holes in all the lord's castles, and find a nice pile of royal shit beneath it. It all makes sense for the time period.
It's a game that was built by people who play games. Not the best production, testing, bug fixes, or punctuality but well worth the wait for any bugfixes. Can't wait for KCD2. Gonna go on a big trip to celebrate it. -

2021-02-16 at 2:43 PM UTC in I got a jedi MOB!so this morning i got up hungover. yday was laundry day but i was partying so i had to wear my old pair of jeans with holes in the pockets. anyways i started walking to work but i was so fucking hungover so i went to get a juice. the fucking place did not accept card so i had to walk like 250m and wait for a 3 min traffic light to go to a cash machine. the fucking thing was out of 10s and 20s so i had to withdraw $50 fucking bucks. i bought my shit and then starting running to catch the train because i spent so fucking long waiting at the lights to cross bajillion lane highway and then before i realised all the change in coins in my pocket had fallen out as i was running and i was now being followed by a jedi mob.
