They're 100% back in. The only reason they were cut in the first place was because the 3DS couldn't handle rendering up to 8 IC models at once. IMO they should have just implemented them like Duck Hunt rather than cutting them.

What? Well that's just lame. Ledge hogging was an integral part of Smash imo. It was already pretty bad in Brawl when it was slow, floaty, very little combos and the stages were made so that pretty much any character could come back on stage from the edge of the screen.
