I did however find the anecdote amusing on what would have happened if Jesus died in a bathroom from a Heroin overdose.
Chuck posted some convoluted addendum about how Tender used one of the tape recorders on the plane to record the story that is played into the black box, and then he parachutes out and fertility uses her future predicting power to go pick him up when and where he lands, misleading everyone into thinking he'd died on the plane, which is foreshadowed in the story when Fertility tells him that if he thinks really hard he'll find a way out -

science is a complete joke, it has been so for decades. pure science, i.e. the expansion of knowledge through research study and experimentation, is a dead art. now science only exists to scramble to confirm the beliefs of the people funding it. if I had a billion dollars I could pay a laboratory to a form an experiment confirming that I'm in fact the most handsome male on the planet and they could do it, not because this is scientifically true but because modern science is totally meaningless. -
