Guns are not the only weapons for policing. I will one day be an MP and I will push for laws to make sure that police have equipment and amenities to support their work. I sympathise with police gun victims but do we give the police much choice?

yes.

in the case of the photo...that clip goes to an SKS which required the end of the loaded clip be inserted into a little tab near the face of the bold (which is held back in the 'bolt open' position) then the rounds are pushed into the fixed (non removable) magazine whereupon the clip is tossed somewhere.
