I mean I don't think he meant it had to be something deeper. Assuming good faith he was simply asking what the point was between two people who have no hope of procreating, which is the most obvious reason for marriage to exist - to strengthen the bonds between parents in a new family, to tie them together, and to make it easier for them to start a family of their own. On the face of it, gay marriage does kinda seem silly. Even the aforementioned tax benefits are meant to promote the growth of families.
And critically thinking, sure, adoption is an obvious answer. But nobody sane wants to think about gays adopting kids, because the gays reproduce by molesting them. -

As I understand it, this is false. Impotence (inability to consummate) meant the marriage was invalid, but an inability to conceive after the marriage had been consummated was not. -

I don't know how to break this to you, but marriage between a sterile man and a fertile woman (or vice versa) is still marriage, so the fact that it's a genetic dead end is only so important. -

They arguably can't be married in the eyes of God, but marriage is a legal institution as much a religious one. It's kind of fulfilling the same role as adoption. In the old sense, where a man might adopt a man his age to bring him into the family. Only it's a man marrying a man and starting a new branch of the family (which may or may not be a dead end depending on adoption).

I think the ritual aspect plays a part in why it's so addictive though. I mean aside from the... you know... meth part. Kinda like with cigarettes. Or heroin and cooking up a shot. There's a ritual and reward. Smoking meth might be a little too fun. Also not good for oral hygiene/health. Fun though. -

It's not weird how it gets reported as a conspiracy theory though, considering it's a thing that's been discussed at the WEF but nobody has made any indication it's actually something they're going to do - let alone that they're in the process of actually doing it.
There are a lot of theories that they're in the process of actually doing it (secretly, of course - conspiring). A... "conspiracy theory", if you will. -
