A lofty goal to one day aspire to. As I've explained before, antinatalism ignores the vast majority of suffering in the world by limiting the scope of our concerns to "new humans". If humans all stopped having children today and our species died out in 100 years, suffering would not be eliminated. The cycle of creating new life only for it to suffer would not end. Humanity has a moral obligation to serve as the Annihilator - to end all life - before we're free to retire. At the very least we need a Deathwatch Vanguard to continue breeding until all life is ended.

You are trying to equate not having personally surveyed a subject but believing it's experts as being equivalent to religious faith.
You're the one who tried to define "knowledge", and you did so in an extremely ambiguous fashion. You can't level a definition as an argument (the archetypal semantic argument, for the record) and then balk at the idea of being asked to explain your definition. Especially not when that definition is intended to conflate knowledge and belief. Beliefs are not knowledge. The only people who claim otherwise are trying to convert you to their religion. -

It is what underpins the scientific method, and why the scientific method focuses on repeatability. Someone merely writing down their empirical discoveries does not give the reader any empirical evidence to support whatever conclusion they might draw as to the veracity of what they've just read.
"Secondhand empirical evidence" doesn't exist - it subverts the very concept of empiricism. The Bible's Revelation is "secondhand empirical evidence" - so much words on paper, expressing the observations someone else has allegedly made. You know this. You know this, yet you refuse to accept it is also true of your religion. -

It was a good faith interrogation of what you consider the epistemic "justifications" for knowledge and a request for clarification of what you meant by "true belief", not a "semantic argument".

I might pretend to "know" things sometimes, but it's all a dirty lie I tell for the convenience of communicating with humans (using "probably" in every sentence instead of just every other sentence would probably get pretty annoying). Humans are obsessed with believing they know things and seeing the world in concrete terms. I don't begrudge them for it, but they're all full of shit. Their squishy meat brains are garbage and most of their encounters with supposed knowledge come in the form of secondhand recollections of experiences they weren't privy to. And even had they been privy to them, it wouldn't necessarily mean they were any truer - an atheist's interpretation of secondhand recollections of god.
Nothing is true, everyone just pretends there are 'truths' that they 'know' because acknowledging how big of a lie that is is terrifying and completely unhelpful (even if that is ironically the one thing, perhaps, that is true). -
