I've read ancient accounts of before the Great Flood of certain giant men who would eat babies. Run into a village and just eat all the babies, and some of the villagers, too, if there were any stragglers.

    No it doesn't.

The original design of life does, but we are not living in the original design right now. We are on a detour. Can't base anything off what you see right now, until we get back on the right path, which won't be long now at all.

Used to be a poster way back who would post about eating babies and how tasty they were. In China, it's a delicacy.

It matters because it's all about your enjoyment of life and the enjoyment of life of your fellows, nothing else. All of reality exists just to satisfy the human condition.

There's new information coming out every single day. It's not like you could know everything and then you wouldn't have to do anything else. Unless you keep updating your knowledge, you become outdated and irrelevant. I am at the top of my game, totally up to date on all the latest fads and accessories.

Well, you'd first have to have an appreciation. If you don't want to appreciate what is worthy of being appreciated, then there really is no place, no purpose, no station for you in the greater scheme of things.

No, they can't, because there are only two sounds. One high, one low. It is quite distinguishable from the single microphone.

Think of the higher frequency sound as Sound A. The lower frequency sound as Sound B. Put Sound A and Sound B as two points on a time chart. Now minus the time of Sound A from the time of Sound B and get the time difference between the two. Whatever that number is represents the delay between the two points. Once you have the lag difference, that's all you need to calculate the actual distance, when also comparing to characteristics/limitations/behavior of the bullets being fired.

How hard is this for you to understand.

It's like trying to analyse to two vertices of a triangle from the third vertex… But you don't know the length of any of the sides.

You don't need to know where the microphone is. The microphone can be anywhere, and the two sounds will still have the exact same lag time.

The low pitched sounds are the bullets leaving the barrel from a distance. The high-pitched sounds are the bullets hitting the ground up close. The lag time between those two sounds can be fitted into a simple equation which gives you the distance between the two. This has nothing to do with any quality of sound, it's just a comparison between two sounds.
