Nobody would be able to get into my compound. I could also be watching the hillside through a 8x scope with a .50 cal BMG. It works both ways, and that's fair. And if it ends up you don't succeed in killing me, and you leave a trace, that gives me the justification to hunt you down and kill you, so that's also fair.

No. If there is no ill intent, you haven't hacked anything. For example, you enter an URL address in your browser, but you enter it wrong, and the unexpected result is that you end up in the webmaster's root directory. You didn't hack the server, you merely accidentally fell into it. If you have no intent to circumvent, then you haven't really hacked anything.

That would be compromising. The difference is hacking has the malicious intent. You can compromise something with no malicious intent and that's not hacking, but if you compromise it with the intent, that's hacking.

That kid, Lammy, just ran a script which removes his name from posts critical of him. See? I told you he's tricky!

He didn't want her to die alone. If you were Adam, you probably wouldn't have a problem with that, though.

Because he's just plain angry at the world and hates everything and everyone in it, including you. It's nothing personal. He even hates his own mother.
