Like a slab of meat. So I’m laying here in my hospital gown, and the plastic surgery team was making their rounds. There was 9 of them, that’s a big team making rounds. They were kind enough to ask if they could even turn on my lights; but then, one of the two women in the group just comes over and and starts opening my gown without saying a word. I looked at her, and said, “Oh, you’re just gonna rip my gown open and not say a word?” The rest of the team looked at her, that’s a big no no without at least telling the patient you’re going to open their gown in front of 9 people, 7 of them men. So, being the bold person that I am, I pushed her hands away, pulled the snapped arm holes open, then ripped my gown open for all to see. I truly dislike bad patient care. If you’re gonna be disrespectful, you’re gonna get a bold move outta me.
