Its definitely an escape on a good trip in a good setting. Like camping or on the beach, where LSD should be taken. If you just sit at home then yeah, its gonna make you get hopelessly introspective and you'll just get into a loop.
But eventually you gotta come up from the microscope. I got all the lessons I needed from psychedelics. I have spent an eternity in the void. I have experienced pure joy. I have gone psychotic.
It's made me appreciate real life. I still use drugs but TYPICALLY i prefer the ones thstt don't take me out of reality. The subtle things thst improve life rather than obfuscate it. -

Helped me quit nicotine, weed, and Crouton. Made me decide to work on a car and now I have one, which I used to get a job I actually enjoy.
Its how psychedelics are supposed to used. To better your life instead of escaping into some false sense of enlightenment. Real joy comes out of achieving your goals.
I mean of course you want to take high doses and escape. You have nothing to be proud of. -
