The idea is not to build 'immunity' as quickly as possible. Its to flatten the curve. Which we did a shitty ass job at so next wave will be absolutely horrible.
Probably tens of thousands of Americans have already died trying to 'build herd immunity'. Just look at what happened to Borris, shaking hands with covid patients then 3 weeks later is in the ICU.
The idea is to stay away from people and build immunity slowly and safely to keep hospitals from overcrowding like what happened in NY where sick people were sleeping on the floor.
This is also completely ignoring viral load. You want as little exposure as possible to build the antigens required for immunity.
Hence: vaccines. Exactly what a vaccine would do. Build herd immunity in a safe way. That is what they fucking do.
Going to crowded places is not 'building immunity' its putting the life of yourself and others at risk. -

Now they can afford to jail everyone BECAUSE they jail everyone. The creation of police led to the public funding of law enforcement and this the militarization and industrialization.
Nobody saying to disband the cops is saying they dont want law and order. They want reform. Call them police or constables or watchmen or guards. Doesn't matter. Same shit different era. There's a better way to do this and it starts from the ground up.
Cops need to be re-trained. I've gone through more schooling than them and I can't even do shit with my degree. They're literally just thugs. Being physically capable is the only requirement. Like a bouncer or bodyguard. Srs Alabama i think is only 9 weeks of training. Fucking absurd. Most are just a couple months. And there's no certification either its literally just training like you'd get at McDonald's or any job.
Taxes should go towards stuff that actually helps people instead of creating a system that victimizes its citizens. And there should be a fucking certification process i mean my fuck. A bachelors degree of some sort at least. Psychological testing. We have teenager cops i mean what the shit. -

Their perception of what humanity becomes is pretty much all I want us to become. No crime or poverty on Earth anymore. Money is a thing in the past. People who want to learn can just go do it. Medical care is free and a hot meal is as easy as talking into a replicator that provides WHATEVER YOU WANT TO EAT in a nutritionally healthy form. So you can literally eat ice cream all the time if you want. It's healthy. No fat people in the federation.
I could go on but the universe is just so fucking cool.
