2020-06-11 at 2:55 PM UTC in Got TP?Mentioning someone's weight isn't really insulting. In other cultures it's just a thing you say and another fact of life. If you aren't a little bitch you won't get offended by that shit. Jigs is probably just sensitive because he himself has been putting on weight.

But not relevant to the 0.35% of deaths in the US covid has caused or the fact 99.6% are covid free.
When this started, that's what you said. "The flu is worse." I can dig up quotes if you'd like.
And I already stated that it's the leading cause of death in America. Worse than heart disease, cancer, and automobile accidents. Not to mention there is a huge spike in other types of deaths from April-June that were not attributed to corona. So even WITH those spikes (that are probably caused by the damage from corona) it is STILL the leading cause of death.
I don't know how much worse it has to get for you to think it's serious. Will you think it's serious at 200k? 300k? 500k? -
2020-06-11 at 2:43 PM UTC in US cases pass the two million markSo that's all you have to say when faced with statistics that show this is deadlier than anything else going on right now? More deaths than heart disease and automobile accidents, and all you have to say is "stay scared?"
Wow you really proved me wrong. I guess I will stay scared by putting on a mask every day and going about my business. -

Globally, about 3.4% of reported COVID-19 cases have died. By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1% of those infected.
And the flu doesn't cause lasting damage either. -

Uh, no? Can you read? I'm just saying that those numbers are inconsequential. This disease causes lasting damage anyway even if you don't die from it, and the 'total infected percentage' only matters if you're playing Plague Inc. Nobody said this is going to kill us all. But it will end up killing millions and millions of people. I mean shit, in April the US only had 2,000 deaths. The exponential growth is INSANE and it would've been a lot worse had we not done the shitty job of shutting down that we did. Could've been a lot better too.
Best case scenario: We'll have 200-300k dead in the US by the end of the year.
The fact is that this is now the leading cause of death in America. Responsible for 60% of deaths. And you can see that we MAGICALLY had an increase in other types of death too that are NOT being included in those statistics. The lasting damage means you are more prone for stuff like heart attack.
Here are some statistics that actually matter:

Stay scared.
You are retarded if you think these statistics mean anything about the dangers/safety of this virus.
Reminder that the flu kills an average of 30,000 Americans in 12 months.
Corona has killed 100,000 in just 3 months. And numbers are not dropping. -
